The spread of the Corona Virus is on the hearts and minds of the nation right now. At Faith World Outreach Church, the safety, health, and spiritual well-being of your family and our family are our top priorities. Like you, we are actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. In these unprecedented times, we will continue to serve you in the safest manner possible and take all actions necessary to protect your family and all service attendees.
Our church is cleaned and sanitized multiple times per week as part of our normal operations. We have also increased the frequency of those cleanings and added hand sanitizers throughout our facilities for your use. We will be cleaning before and after each service, in entrances, classrooms, nursery, in the main sanctuary, the bathrooms, and everywhere people are going through and touching.
The State of Illinois has banned gatherings of 10 + persons. This ban is currently in effect and the State will reassess in 30 days.
In compliance with the ban, we will be virtual church services. We will also be taking the following precautions in order to minimize exposure and help to keep everyone safe.
- Refrain from shaking hands or hugging.
- Keep your distance when communicating with others.
- If you have any symptoms, please do not attend service. Skip a service or two so we don’t risk exposure to our nurseries, children’s classes, or adult congregation.
- We will be distributing extra hand sanitizer at each entry door, in front of classrooms, and in foyers. Please use them excessively when at church.
These are just good health measures; however, as your Pastor, we are doing our best to comply with the government requests and take care of our church family.
We want to be clear that nobody has been exposed nor has any church member tested positive for Corona Virus. We are doing this as a precautionary measure in an effort to comply with the State’s directive and to keep all who attend our services as safe as possible.
President Donald J. Trump has called Sunday, March 15 a National Day of Prayer. No matter where you are please take some time and turn aside to join believers and fellow Americans to pray for healing for our nation and to stand against this evil.
I am praying for each of you and over this entire pandemic. Jesus is still Lord, and He is still the cure and the healer of all things and all people.
2 CHRONICLES 7:14
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
