A 25 year fire fighter with the Oak Park Fire Department, Edward was the Senior Pastor at Faith World Outreach Church, founding member of the Illinois Haz Mat Response Team, founder of Faith School of Ministry, and a world missionary who began every day saying “it’s a lovely day”.
Beloved husband of Debby (nee Sattler); loving father of Eddie (Brandi), Erica (Tom) Sutton, Lorin (Robert) Pears, Jon (Kristin), Matt (Theresa), Andrew (Erin), Mary (KC) Curtis, Joanna (Chris) Wagoner, Esther (Rich) Budish, Lydia (Dustin) Mateling, Anna (Amin) Smith, and Joshua (Bree); proud grandfather of 48; dear great grandfather of 13; fond brother of the late Raymond (Mary Ann).

- Pioneer of the Firefighter Paramedic Response
- Lead the charge to develop the Regional Hazardous Material Response System which oversaw a 5-state region.
- Attended Triton College of Fire Science
- Obtained his Master’s Degree from the International Bible Institute
- Pastor of Faith World Outreach Church for 36 years (one year as Good News Bible Fellowship)
- Founder of Faith School of Ministry that has graduated thousands of students and has been translated and used in churches overseas.
- World missionary who helped build and establish churches in Belarus, Belize, Latvia, Germany, Guatemala, Ireland, India, Mexico, Nigeria, Siberia, and Uruguay.
