Walk by Faith

The Bible is the Word of God, as we study and begin to gain a greater understanding of the Word we can see the plan that God has in place for every one of us. It is vital that we find ourselves daily in the scriptures and allow it to become a part of us. One such scripture is found in Romans 12:3 NASB

For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

This verse clearly shows that to everyone “a measure of faith” has been allotted! Wow! God has allotted a measure of faith to everyone! what does that mean? Well we gain a greater understanding of what that means when we turn to Hebrews 11:6 NASB

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

This measure of faith can be described as a seed that must be opened in the heart of a person. Upon that opening, it gives birth to the realization that God really is God! And as you chase God this faith will grow and bring greater undeniable fruit!

Faith is a word that Christians everywhere are familiar with, the word is simple but the action seems to become complex. When really it isn’t!

As we open the Word of God we find that truthfully faith is an action. It is like a muscle that must be worked daily and thereby gets stronger and stronger and for lack of a better word it becomes a good “habit”!

Paul wrote in Corinthians 5:7 NASB, “for we walk by faith, not by sight”— is an excellent instruction and biblical example of what a Christians walk should reflect.
As we develop our relationship with the Lord and develop our walk with Him, we learn God is not bound by our day to day expectations and routines. God really is who He says that He is! He really can do anything and will respond to active faith and the prayers of His people.

We can again search the Word and find what God expects from us.

Jeremiah 33:3 NASB

Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

This is key! Call out to Him because He is there and He desires to move on behalf of our prayers and bring about miracles. We have seen miracle healings, deliverances, families restored…the list really goes on and on. God does not function on limited power, the only thing that can limit His move in our lives and on our behalf is our faith or lack thereof. Daring to trust in Him and believe His word will ALWAYS bring about amazing undeniable, miracle fruit in our lives!
